In the Paninsky district, located in the north of the Voronezh region, a state of emergency has been introduced in connection with the detection of an anthrax outbreak. How told in the local administration, it will be valid until November 16. Within the regime forbidden visiting the territory of the outbreak and the surrounding area by unauthorized persons, importation, exportation and slaughter of susceptible animals, hunting, as well as the preparation and exportation of feed and milk.

The case of human disease with anthrax was confirmed by the Stavropol Anti-Plague Institute of Rospotrebnadzor. The disease arose upon contact with the carcass of an infected animal. In the Voronezh Department of Rospotrbnadzor declaredthat they are carrying out a complex of anti-epidemic measures and keeping the situation under control.

Within the borders of the hearth, the authorities conducted a door-to-door round. Since morning, two mobile sanitary and veterinary points have been working in the area. According to the official documents Voronezh government, the focus of anthrax is located in the subsidiary farm on Prospekt Mira in the village of Krasnye Holmy. An unfavorable territory was established within a radius of 2 km from it, and a threatened zone, which includes three settlements and five villages, is 7 km away.
