In the Oryol region, the number of people involved in sports can grow by almost 50%

In 2023, 1.2 billion rubles will be allocated for the development of physical culture and sports in our region. This became known today, December 12, during a meeting of the regional administration. Details were told in the press service of the regional government.
And in 2022, 967.3 million rubles will be spent on the development of sports and physical education. So far, 89% of this money has been spent. It is predicted that the proportion of residents of the region who will regularly engage in sports and physical education will grow to 47.3% by the end of the year.
Note that we are talking here about Oryol residents from 3 to 79 years. And the rate of provision of the inhabitants of the region with sports facilities, according to forecasts, will reach 56.2%.
