In the Luhansk People’s Republic, Russian paratroopers stopped an attempt by Ukrainian troops to break through on the line of contact.
According to the commander of the unit with the call sign “Samara”, Ukrainian soldiers today made another attempt to approach the front line of Russian troops.
“The scouts reported that the enemy was approaching. We immediately attacked them with mortars and other weapons. After that, the Ukrainian military fled in scattered groups through the forest. As a result, the enemy was destroyed,” the paratrooper said.
He clarified that at the moment, in some sectors of the front, the distance to the enemy is approximately 80 meters. At the same time, Ukrainian militants often make attempts to get closer to Russian positions. Russian intelligence officers fix them on the approaches, which will allow them to stop all attempts.
