In the Lipetsk region, police seized a ballot box after a complaint about stuffing

Police officers seized a ballot box at polling station No. 15–32 in the village of Sentsovo in the Lipetsk district of the Lipetsk region after a complaint from the LDPR about ballot stuffing. Two PEC employees have been suspended from work until the circumstances are clarified.
As Anatoly Yemelyanov, a deputy of the Lipetsk regional council from the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia, told Kommersant, today, September 9, at polling station No. 15-32, in the presence of State Duma candidate Anatoly Yemelyanov, ballots were stuffed into the ballot box. According to Mr. Emelyanov, ballot stuffing was also recorded at the same site on September 8.
“Currently, law enforcement officers have seized the ballot box. The regional election commission decided to cancel all paper ballots at this polling station for September 8 and 9,” said Anatoly Emelyanov.
On a single voting day – from September 8 to 10 – in the Lipetsk region elections of deputies of representative bodies of municipalities are held, as well as by-elections of a State Duma deputy in a single-mandate electoral district.
