Government of the Lipetsk region reported in his Telegram channel about the restoration of all sections of roads that were dug up with excavators to stop the equipment of PMC Wagner.
The restoration of the canvas began on the evening of Saturday, June 24, when it became known that the PMC forces were returning to field camps. The ditches dug by excavators were covered with sand and gravel, after which the movement of cars was opened along them. This morning they began to asphalt. It is known that the work was carried out by specialized services on five sections of the road.
Radical measures to dig up the roads were taken after the head of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, announced the start of a “march of justice” to Moscow along the M-4 Don highway. President Vladimir Putin called what is happening an armed rebellion. A criminal case was opened against Yevgeny Prigozhin. On the evening of June 24, the press service of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko reportedthat he agreed with Yevgeny Prigozhin on a peaceful solution to the conflict. The head of the PMC was supposed to leave for Belarus.
