Governor of the Kursk region Roman Starovoyt reported shelling of the territory of the Glushkovsky district from Ukraine. The shelling took place during the day.
Fortunately, no residents were injured. The fire started in dry grass, but thanks to the prompt actions of firefighters, it was quickly extinguished.
As a result of the shelling, the village of Tetkino and the villages of Korovyakovka, Alekseevka and Popovo-Lezhachi were left without electricity.
In previous days, shelling of villages in the Glushkovsky and Rylsky districts of the region was also recorded.
No one was injured as a result of these incidents.
The level of terrorist threat in the Kursk region has been officially declared “yellow” (high) from April 11, 2022. The region bordering Ukraine has been repeatedly shelled.
