In the Kostroma regional center of Manturovo, the Novatek company opened another football ground

Yesterday in the regional center of Manturovo the next Kostroma zonal youth football championship for the NOVATEK Cup opened – “Step to big football!” This time, 6 school teams from the northeast of the Kostroma region gathered in Manturovo.

What is typical is that the first games of this tournament made it possible to “renew” the second football field in the city, which became a prize for the winning team in the last Championship. The first winner was the team from local school No. 7 back in 2017, and the second was the city team in the summer of 2023.

As a prize, the Manturovo residents received a second football field of 20 by 40 meters, on which the competition took place.

As a result of the mini-football tournament, the Manturovo team and the Mezhevskaya school team again reached the finals of the regional competition – they took gold and silver at the zonal level, respectively. In the finals they will have to meet the winners of three other zonal stages, which will soon be held in Kostroma, Buya, and Volgorechensk.
