In the Kaliningrad region, the ban on flights of civilian drones, which had been in effect since May 5, was lifted. The corresponding decree was signed by the governor of the region Anton Alikhanov, document published on the portal of legal information.
The press service of the regional government said that the ban was introduced until May 14. The governor’s executive order to ban drone flights, however, clarified that the restrictions were in effect until the end of the basic alert level that was introduced in the region in October 2022.
In 40 Russian regions, a ban on UAV flights was introduced. In Moscow, it was introduced, in particular, after they tried to attack the Kremlin residence of Vladimir Putin in Moscow on the night of May 3 with drones, no one was hurt. Kremlin accused in an attack on Ukraine. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said about the non-involvement of Kyiv in the incident.
