In the standings, there is again something that is well known to Khabarovsk fans from the past (excluding the end of the last) seasons. “SKA-Khabarovsk” again stuck in the middle of the table. Compared to what the Red and Blue Crew did in the 2021-22 season, the disappointment of the fans is understandable. However, it is still too early to bury the army team completely – the Khabarovsk team is only playing well and sometimes they look quite good on the field.

The match with “Ufa” was the ninth since the beginning of the season. During this time, SKA-Khabarovsk won two meetings, lost three and drew three more. Nine points in the asset is not enough to qualify for getting into the top four, so in the game with the Ufa club, a victory would be most welcome. The army team actively started the match, but gradually the guests (the game again took place on the conditionally home field of the Red-Blues in Kazan) seized the initiative and opened the scoring already at the 17th minute of the meeting. Distinguished Artem Golubev, who was in the right place at the right time.

The army team could also open the score, on the 15th minute Ilya Petrov received a wonderful pass from a partner, bringing him almost one on one with the goalkeeper, but, alas, he could not beat the Ufa goalkeeper. The missed ball forced the army team to move more actively. At the 40th minute, Mevlana Adili failed to equalize, the ball entered the net, but from the wrong side.

At 51 minutes there was still a great moment and the projectile even flew into the goal, but the goal was not counted for good reason – it was scored from an offside position. After another 10 minutes, the same Ilya Petrov could have scored from a free-kick and again the Ufa goalkeeper gets in the way of the ball. The Red-Blues managed to equalize only in the 69th minute of the match. With the filing of Magomed Musalov, Mikhail Gashchenkov scored with a header. Actually this goal summed up the final result in this match. The final score is 1:1. SKA-Khabarovsk shares points again, this time with Ufa and takes 12th place in the championship standings.

– This was our last so-called “home” game in Kazan due to the fact that we were changed the field. So I want to say thank you for the hospitality, but we are very glad that we are returning home to Khabarovsk and we will play for our fans. As for the game, in the first half we did not cope with Ufa’s personal guard, although we warned about it. We could not bring that number of attacks to their logical conclusion. In the second half we played sharper, rebuilt from three defenders to four. And due to the replacement of rebuilding, we played a little more aggressively and created more chances. The score is what it is, it’s always in football… I can’t say logical, not logical – it’s always the way it is. Today, we wanted to create sharpness through the actions of the full-backs in the corridors of Perov, Gashchenkov, between the lines of Miroshnichenko, but we could not cope with the fact that we never got into position to be in a positional attack. “Ufa” worked personally according to ours, and we chose the wrong decisions. These penetrating passes under the counterattack and therefore the integrity of the game did not work out. Although, when Petrov did not score, he talked about what we want to see and there was another episode, but I know that my team can do better, but we need to achieve stability through training and games. We haven’t had that much time to stabilize the game, but we do it in the season. We had good conditions here for training, for everyday life. The team gives everything, the players give 100%. If we need to add anything, regardless of the field, it is in the quality of the game and we are working on this, both individually for each player and for the team as a whole. Now we will have to adapt to an artificial field, because we trained on a natural field, so we need to be careful with this, ”said after the match Roman Sharonov, head coach of SKA-Khabarovsk.
