In the cities of Kazakhstan, located near the Russian border, rental prices have skyrocketed – from 15 to 34 percent. It is reported by TASS with reference to the analysts of the Kazakhstan site about the real estate “Roof”.
Experts note that the increase in the cost of renting premises is due to an increase in demand for rental housing.
Housing is most in demand in such cities as Uralsk, Petropavlovsk, Pavlodar, Aktobe and Kostanay.
The biggest increase in rental prices was in Aktobe and Uralsk (34 percent), in Kostanay – by 25 percent, in Pavlodar by 19 percent, in Semey and Petropavlovsk – by about 15 percent.
In the largest cities of the republic (Astana and Alma-Ata), rental rates increased not so significantly – by 5.6 and 5.1 percent, respectively.
