In the Chelyabinsk region, due to a snow storm, a temporary restriction of traffic on the highway to Kazakhstan was introduced
The State Traffic Inspectorate of the Chelyabinsk Region, in a publication on its official telegram channel, reports that due to unfavorable meteorological conditions, namely against the backdrop of heavy precipitation in the form of snow, strong winds, and blizzards, the Ministry of Road Facilities and Transport of the Chelyabinsk Region decided to introduce a temporary restriction traffic for passenger buses, minibuses, passenger taxis, as well as freight vehicles transporting heavy and oversized cargo under special permits.
It is noted that the temporary traffic ban will last from 08:00 to 12:00 local time on the section of the Kizilskoye-Bredy-Mariinsky-Kazakhstan border highway from 57 to 130 kilometers. At the same time, the State Traffic Inspectorate clarified that the end time of the traffic restriction may change due to the continuation of bad weather.
The department recommended refusing to travel in this direction and looking for detours.
