In the capital of Pomorye, the best taekwondo players fight for the White Sea Cup. Since 2023, the competitions have had an interregional status: about 120 athletes from the Arkhangelsk, Vologda, Vladimir regions take part in them.
With the support of the regional government, Pomorie hosts many competitions at the local, regional and interregional levels. Also this year, Arkhangelsk hosted athletes from the Northwestern Federal District for the 14th time to determine the best taekwondo players, the Ministry of Sports of the Arkhangelsk Region reports.
At the opening of the competition, the strongest athletes were noted, Ilya Nikitenko and Nikita Ushakov were awarded certificates confirming the title of Master of Sports of Russia.
For 30 years, the Regional Taekwondo Federation of the GTF has already raised more than 90 masters of sports, more than 35 masters of sports of international class, an honored master of sports, as well as two honored coaches of Russia.
