Publications in the media and Telegram about an attempt by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to attack a chemical plant near the town of Seltso in the Bryansk region are fake. This was announced by the regional government in its Telegram channel.
“The operational services did not confirm the information published in the media and instant messengers,” says in the message.
The authorities of the Bryansk region also recalled that liability, up to and including criminal liability, comes for the dissemination of false information. The government urged to trust only official sources.
Earlier today, the Telegram channel Mash reported that the Ukrainian military allegedly tried to attack the Bryansk chemical plant near the town of Seltso. The resource claimed that the Ukrainian drone was shot down by the Russian Pantsir system a few kilometers from the enterprise.
Governor of the Bryansk region Alexander Bogomaz informed about the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine the day before, March 13. Then the villages of Rakovka, Grudskaya and the village of Nekilitsa came under fire. As a result, no one was hurt. Prior to this, the Russian air defense system knocked down Ukrainian drone near the village of Navlya on March 9. There were no casualties or damage, Bogomaz said.

The so-called “Russian Volunteer Corps” took responsibility for the sabotage. Commenting on the incident, Russian President Vladimir Putin called it a terrorist attack.
