In the Bryansk region, several aircraft of the Aerospace Forces crashed

In the Bryansk region, two Russian planes and two helicopters could have been shot down almost simultaneously, figured out “Kommersant”. We are talking about a Su-34 fighter-bomber, a Su-35 fighter and two Mi-8 helicopters of the Russian Aerospace Forces. On the afternoon of May 13, a Mi-8 helicopter crashed in the Bryansk region. The aircraft crashed in the border town of Klintsy, two crew members died, TASS wrote. RIA Novosti source in operational services first informedthat some houses were damaged by the wreckage of the helicopter, and there were no dead or seriously injured among civilians.

In emergency services immediately after the incident reportedthat the helicopter could have crashed due to an engine fire. Videos of the incident published on Telegram channels show that an explosion occurs before the helicopter crashes, after which it “falls apart in the air.”

The governor of the Bryansk region Alexander Bogomaz, a few hours after the incident, said that a woman was injured as a result of the helicopter crash, she was taken to the district hospital. In his Telegram channel, he briefly clarified the nature of the damage after the accident: “Five households were damaged, the damage assessment commission began work. Emergency services are on the scene.”

Soon after the Mi-8 crash, there were reports of a Su-34 crash in the same Bryansk region. In TASS emergency services toldthat the fighter crashed near the Ukrainian border. They did not specify where exactly the aircraft crashed. There were also reports of the crash of the Su-35. The Russian Ministry of Defense, emergency services and regional authorities have not yet officially reported on the last two incidents.
