The Belgorod region came under fire for the second time by the armed forces of Ukraine (AFU), as a result, no one was injured. About it informed Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel.
“The village of Ustinka in the Belgorod region came under fire. There were no casualties. Shells hit windows, facades and fences in four private households. There is also damage to power lines and gas pipelines. Operational and emergency services went to the place to eliminate the consequences,” the statement said.
Earlier today Gladkov informedthat as a result of the shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine of the village of Voznesenovka, Shebekinsky urban district, one person was injured – he received a slight concussion. He was treated on the spot, the man refused hospitalization.
Now in the Belgorod region there is a high level of terrorist threat. It became the fourth region to set the “yellow” danger level indefinitely. Prior to that, it was installed in the Crimea, Bryansk and Kursk regions.
On January 31, Russian President Vladimir Putin lifted the time limit for introducing terrorist threat levels in Russian regions. Previously, the level of terrorist threat could be set for a period of no more than 15 days, now the decision to introduce a threat level becomes indefinite and is valid until it is canceled. On February 1, the head of state said that the border regions of Russia should not be subjected to shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This task is facing the Ministry of Defense of the country, he noted.
