When operating pick-up points (POPs) in the Belgorod region, the Ozon online trading platform uses a flexible approach. If the company’s partner and his employees consider the situation in the place where the pickup point is unsafe, then they may not open the point. The company does not impose fines for this. This system has been in effect since March 12. The shelf life of goods in an unopened pick-up point is extended until the point is opened. This was reported by the Ozon press service.

“We are closely monitoring the situation and ask our partners not to open a pickup point if there is a threat to the health of employees, couriers and clients. Since December, we have proposed to our partners to temporarily close order pick-up points due to the situation in the city,” the message says (quoted from TASS).

Wildberries Marketplace reported today, March 29, the closure of a number of pickup points in the Belgorod region due to the dangerous situation in the region. The outlets will be closed indefinitely, and the shelf life of the goods in them will be extended. The company clarified that the marketplace continues to operate in the region and does not stop its activities.

The Belgorod region has been subjected to daily shelling from Ukraine since the beginning of March. Over the past 24 hours, the region was attacked by 83 munitions and 11 drones. On the night of March 29, 15 shells fired using the RM-70 Vampire multiple launch rocket system were shot down in the sky over the region.
