In the Belgorod region, the “yellow” (high) level of terrorist threat was extended until February 4. About it informed Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel.
“Until February 4, a “yellow” level of terrorist threat operates on the territory of the Belgorod region. The corresponding document has been signed,” the statement said.
The day before, January 19, Gladkov informed about the shelling of several villages in the Shebekinsky urban district. As a result, a private house was destroyed in the Balki farm, and an outbuilding of a private household in the village of Leninsky. Later he wrote about the shelling of the village of Dolgoe in the Valuysky urban district and the Belgorod region. At the end of the day, Gladkov announced the fourth shelling of the region, under fire again hit farm Balki. No one was injured as a result of the shelling.
In April 2022, the “yellow” level of danger was introduced by six of the seven border regions. Since then, it has been extended several times. In particular, in the Belgorod region for the last time extended 5 January.
In addition, since October 19, 2022, the “medium response” regime has been operating in the region, which, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, has been extended to eight border regions – Crimea, Sevastopol, Krasnodar Territory, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk and Rostov regions (some of them were shelled by Ukraine).
