In the Belgorod region denied the data on the “breakthrough of the Armed Forces of Ukraine”

The data on the “breakthrough of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at night in the Shebekin direction” is not true, reported at the operational headquarters of the Belgorod region.

“The situation in the Shebekinsky urban district is difficult at the moment, shelling is underway, sounds of battle are heard. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are working, but there is no breakthrough of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, ”the message says.

The headquarters asked the residents of the region to remain calm and trust only official information.

Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov informed in his Telegram channel about the massive shelling by the Armed Forces of the Shebekinsky district. He stressed that there was “no and no” penetration of the enemy into the region. The armed forces of the Russian Federation, the border guards of the FSB and the National Guard are on site, he added.

As a result of the incessant shelling that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been conducting since night, the governor continued, the number of victims has increased to eight people. There were no deaths, he said.

According to Gladkov, the lives of civilians in Shebekino and the surrounding villages are under threat. Now the administration of districts and cities is engaged in the evacuation of people, but for this you need to wait for the end of the shelling, he explained. The governor explained that the authorities do not publish gathering places so as not to put people’s lives in danger.

Over the past week, shelling of the territory of the Belgorod region by the Armed Forces of Ukraine has become more frequent. In this regard, Gladkov announced on the evacuation of children from the Shebekinsky and Grayvoronsky districts. On May 31, the first 300 children left for Voronezh. Today, June 1, another 200 people will be transported to Penza, June 3, 600 people will be sent to Kaluga and Yaroslavl, the governor specified.

In the Belgorod region, a high (“yellow”) level of terrorist danger is indefinitely. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the average level of response has been set in the region. The same regime operates in seven other subjects of the Russian Federation – Crimea, Sevastopol, Krasnodar Territory, Kursk, Voronezh, Bryansk and Rostov regions.
