In the Belgorod region, 34,000 residents received one-time payments

34,000 residents of the Belgorod region who suffered as a result of the shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) received a one-time payment of 10,000 rubles. About it told Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel.

According to the head of the region, a few more days are needed to combine the databases. This is necessary in order for the state support to be sent exactly to the addressee.

Payments are intended only for residents with a residence permit in the affected areas, however, as the head of the region noted, there are those who are registered in Belgorod, but lived in Shebekino. “We understand that this is unfair, there is a lot of resentment, but we also understand that residents have temporarily lost their homes today and we need to help them,” Gladkov said.

A special register of such residents will be created in the region, to whom it is planned to provide assistance from other sources. To do this, they need to write a statement and contact the local administration or social security authorities. Gladkov clarified that the data will be checked – through attachment to the clinic, kindergartens and schools.

One-time payment of 10,000 rubles. – one of the measures to support residents of the border settlements of the Belgorod region, which are regularly shelled from Ukraine. In addition, the region will take over the payment of utilities from June 1. The Central Bank also recommended that banks provide credit holidays for residents of the Belgorod region who were forced to leave the border areas.

In the Belgorod region, a high (“yellow”) level of terrorist danger is indefinitely. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, the “medium level of response” has been established in the region. On June 6, the press service of United Russia, citing Gladkov, reported that almost 60,000 people had been evacuated from the shelled territories.
