The original appearance was returned to a three-story residential building built in 1885 in the south of the capital.

House 26 in 2nd Pavlovsky Lane was built in the neoclassical style according to an individual project.

The central axis of the courtyard facade is supported by a protruding risalit with an entrance group at the bottom of the building. The second floor is separated from the upper and lower parts of the building by architectural belts, the ground floor – by a rectangular ledge. Facades have simple plasticity and are decorated with decorative elements. Symmetrically located pilasters decorate the main and end facades. The windows of the third floor of the main facade are decorated with sandriks. The building is completed by a stepped crowning cornice.

Specialists of the Capital Repair Fund repaired and painted the facades of the building, repaired the roof and entrances.

“Preserving the historical beauty of the old houses of the city is a very important and difficult task. House number 26 in 2nd Pavlovsky Lane was built almost 140 years ago, its architecture is original and very attractive. The restoration of his portrait required painstaking work and high professionalism,” said Vladimir Kozhichenkov, Deputy General Director of the Moscow FCR.

The overhaul of the outer walls of the building was divided into several stages. First, it was necessary to wash the planes from dirt and remove the exfoliated plaster layer. Then the surfaces were treated with an antifungal and antiseptic composition, repairing the cracks.

When updating the plaster layer, much attention was paid to the restoration and additional fragmentation of the decorative elements of the external decoration. These works were carried out using advanced technologies. To restore the stucco, high-quality domestic materials were used.

Upon completion of the work, the facades of the building were painted according to the historical color scheme.

During the overhaul in a residential building, windows in common areas were replaced, entrance groups were repaired, and external drain pipes were also renewed.

During the repair of the roof, the structures of the deflectors and metal elements were replaced, the parapet was put in order and a new roll covering was laid. The roof superstructures and walls of the attic space were renewed, after which the doors to the roof exits and the metal fences of the roof perimeter were installed.

The Moscow Capital Improvement Program is one of the largest housing modernization projects not only in Russia, but in the world. The program includes more than 28,500 houses with a total area of ​​more than 275 million square meters. m, in which it is planned to repair more than 355 thousand engineering systems and structural elements of buildings and replace more than 112 thousand elevators.

To clarify the timing and types of work under the overhaul program, so-called short-term implementation plans are drawn up. The plan for 2021-2023 includes 4,437 houses in the capital with a total area of ​​34.2 million square meters.
