On January 26-28, a northern all-around tournament dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of besieged Leningrad will take place in Tarko-Sale. This was reported by the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the Purovsky District Administration.
The complex competition will be held in five disciplines: long-distance ax throwing, trochee throwing, triple national jump, sled jumping and pole running.
“Northern all-around is one of the most popular sports of the indigenous peoples of the North,” the department clarified.
