They are waiting in the large hall of the Philharmonic for Alla Pugacheva, who recently returned to Russia. During her lifetime, Alla Borisovna was friends with the conductor. At the entrance to the Philharmonic hall, several fans with bouquets of flowers are awaiting her arrival.
“Alla Borisovna, when she came to St. Petersburg before, always stayed in a hotel opposite the Philharmonic,” Pugacheva’s fans told us. – This is a sign that Alla will come. She doesn’t have to go far – she crossed the road and is already here.
For the last thirty-five years of his life, Temirkanov was the leader of the Honored Ensemble of Russia, the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the St. Petersburg Shostakovich Philharmonic. He passed away after a long illness. He didn’t live to see his 85th birthday just a couple of months.
