From December 4 to December 10, the number of new cases of coronavirus infection in St. Petersburg increased by 47% compared to the previous week. This data was provided by Irina Kataeva, head of the epidemiological surveillance department of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare in St. Petersburg.
On press conferencesdedicated to the epidemiological safety of children and the prevention of the spread of viral and bacterial diseases, special attention was paid to the situation with the spread of covid. Most of those infected are adults (90%). Coronavirus infection manifests itself as ARVI (84%). The disease is asymptomatic in 5% of cases.
