The St. Petersburg police conducted a raid at the Juno clothing market, located in the southwest of the city. As a result, 56 migrants with Russian citizenship were given summonses to the military registration and enlistment office. 32 people were brought to administrative responsibility for violating migration legislation.
IN press release The regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs states that the raid was carried out on September 6. In total, police checked the documents of 400 people, three quarters of whom turned out to be foreigners.
The place for conducting the immigration legislation check, the police report notes, was not chosen by chance, since market traders periodically come to the attention of the criminal investigation department in connection with the purchase of stolen goods.
