In Sochi, about 2,000 preschoolers met the GTO standards. The events are held at the resort under the federal project “Sport is the norm of life” of the national project “Demography”. According to him, the introduction of the complex starting from kindergarten helps to develop a healthy lifestyle and instills a love of sports from childhood. Young townspeople are charged with positive energy and experience a real competitive spirit. In total, about 2,000 Sochi preschool children passed the GTO standards.
So, in mid-October, 60 kindergarten students from kindergarten No. 86 on Abrikosovaya Street joined the events. Young Sochi residents overcame 5 tests as part of the competition. The guys had to demonstrate their strength in shuttle running, standing long jump with a push with two legs, bending and straightening their arms while lying on the floor, bending forward from a standing position with straight legs.
Earlier, MK in Sochi wrote that the resort hosted Special Olympics sports competition for athletes with mental disabilities. 22 teams from 7 regions of the Russian Federation competed for the awards.
