A bill will be submitted to the Duma to ban collection agencies in Russia with foreign participation of 25% or more
Chairman of the LDPR party Leonid Slutsky heads a group of deputies that on Thursday will present to the State Duma a bill banning the work of collection agencies in Russia, where foreign capital exceeds 25%. According to TASS, the text of the document is already available.
Changes are expected to be made to the laws on microfinance activities and microfinance organizations, as well as on the protection of the rights of individuals when collecting overdue debts.
According to the bill, Russian companies where the share of foreign capital is more than 25% are deprived of the right to collect overdue debts.
