Political scientist Zhuravlev: the expulsion of Ukrainian refugees could be beneficial for Europe
Political scientist Dmitry Zhuravlev in conversation with “Lentoy.ru” stated that Ukrainian refugees could be expelled from Europe to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), and this could be beneficial for the European Union (EU).
According to the expert, in theory, refugees can be expelled, and this will be beneficial for Europe, because Ukrainians will join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, leaving European countries. The political scientist pointed out that the problem is that the European security organization system is quite bad, and if the Ukrainians do not want to take part in hostilities, then there may be “excesses.”
Zhuravlev recalled the mass protests of refugees from the Middle East in Germany, noting that the German police were unable to effectively cope with them. The expert noted that refugees fled from poverty, but Ukrainians literally have a choice between life and death, and this is a big difference. The political scientist believes that European police may not be able to cope with this.
The expert added that there will definitely be attempts to expel refugees: if such a plan has not yet been developed, high-ranking politicians do not talk about it, because it is indecent. As Zhuravlev noted, the only question is whether it will be possible to implement the existing plan.
