Adviser to the Acting Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Yan Gagin proposed to officially allow Ukrainian citizens who are currently in Poland and do not want to return to their homeland to enter the Russian Federation because of the risk of falling on the line of contact. At the same time, he believes that Ukrainians should be involved in Russia as a labor force.
Gagin believes that it would be better if the Russian Federation created some kind of program for the reception of Ukrainian citizens who do not want to fight with the Russian side and do not support the Kiev regime. He noted that it would be much better if these people ended up in Russia and were under some kind of “supervision” than if they were mobilized in their homeland.
According to the adviser to the acting head of the DPR, these resources can be used as a labor force and made into a kind of “construction teams”. He stressed that Russia needs workers, primarily in blue-collar jobs. Gagin specified that the labor force is also needed in the Far East, and if the Russian side provides Ukrainians with jobs and accepts them, then they “will gladly come and work.”
