The bill, submitted to the State Duma, proposes new requirements for state-funded students in Russia. According to this bill, graduates who received education at the expense of public funds will have to work for three years in the field corresponding to their specialty, or reimburse the cost of education.
This initiative was taken by the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, proposing to amend the Federal Law “On Education in Russia”.
According to the proposed changes, graduates of educational institutions who received state funding for the duration of their studies will be required to go through a distribution process in accordance with their qualifications.
It is important to note that a special commission will choose a place of work for graduates no later than four months before the end of their studies. This ensures that graduates can start their career immediately after graduation.
