Since October 2023, Russia has had a law on deprivation of acquired citizenship for sabotage, desertion, discrediting the RF Armed Forces, calls for war and other violations that threaten the national security of the country. In total, the list contains 60 criminal articles. Last December in Russia for the first time deprived acquired citizenship due to failure to appear for military registration.
