The Russian authorities plan to open universities in all regions of the country to train special forces in order to speed up the victory in the SVO, Kommersant reports.
The publication clarifies that the presidential envoy to the Russian Federation Yuri Trutnev and the first deputy head of the presidential administration Sergei Kiriyenko sent an appeal to Russian President Vladimir Putin with a request to create such educational institutions that are already operating in Chechnya.
Federal officials met in Chechnya with the head of the republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, and together visited the special forces base in Gudermes. The head of the republic, Kadyrov, said that between 15 and 50 people visit the center daily for training.
