The issuance of subsidized medicines in the Primorsky Territory has been temporarily suspended due to the hacking of the information system. This was announced today, July 14, in Telegram Minister of Health of the region Anastasia Khudchenko.
“Today, a hacker attack was made on the information system of the regional warehouse for the preferential supply of medicines of Pharmacy JSC. High multi-stage information protection has been hacked. Only partial access has been retained, as well as the ability to manually ensure the issuance of urgently important drugs. Temporarily, the sale of preferential medicines has been suspended for the time being,” the minister wrote.
According to Ms. Khudchenko, the Ministry of Health, together with law enforcement agencies, is working on the speedy restoration of the information system and the provision of medicines to beneficiary categories of citizens. The representative of the Ministry of Health found it difficult to name “Kommersant” the approximate timing of the restoration of the system for dispensing subsidized medicines and the possible reasons for the hacker attack.
