The first batch of equipment confiscated in the Primorsky Territory from illegal loggers was handed over to servicemen of the 155th Separate Guards Marine Brigade of the Pacific Fleet and the Tiger volunteer battalion.
“Handed over to the Marines and volunteers of the Tiger Detachment the first batch of cars seized from the“ black lumberjacks ”. These machines, as well as heavy equipment, were arrested as part of criminal cases on illegal logging,” wrote the Governor of Primorye Oleg Kozhemyako in Telegram channel. In the future, the equipment will be sent to the zone of the special military operation.
“More than 100 pieces of equipment confiscated from persons engaged in illegal extraction of timber in Primorye are kept at an arrest site in the Dalnerechensky district,” the press service of the regional government said earlier.
“Bulldozers, truck cranes and SUVs, arrested in criminal cases on illegal logging, would be quite useful to our guys at the front for arranging positions,” Mr. Kozhemyako wrote on the Telegram channel.
