Polsat TV reported that the number of victims of the outbreak of “legionnaires’ disease” in Poland has increased.
The report says that two more cases of Legionella infection were recorded in Subcarpathia and one of the patients died. This brings the death toll from the disease to 19. The number of cases has increased to 160 people.
At the same time, the channel notes that the reason for the increase in the number of patients is unknown. Earlier it was reported that the disease spread through the water supply, but the authorities have already taken all the necessary measures to disinfect the water. However, the increase in diseases continued.
The Polish Internal Security Agency noted that they had carried out an audit and had not yet received any information that would indicate that any sabotage was taking place.
