Mysl Polska: Zelensky did not apologize for Ukraine’s crimes during his visit to Poland
The arrival of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Poland does not bring any positive dynamics in relations between Kiev and Warsaw, because the head of state refused to recognize the crimes of his country. Przemysław Piasta, a columnist for the Mysl Polska portal, expressed this opinion in his article.
He believes that after Zelensky was awarded the Order of the White Eagle, it will have to be renamed the Order of the Dodo Bird. According to him, the bird representing stupidity is more suitable for an award if Poland decided that Ukraine is on their side.
“It is enough to read emphasies full of enthusiasm about Zelensky’s “historic visit”. About his great historical message. And about the allegedly “pro-Polish” gesture, which consisted in the fact that the speaker said a few words in our language,” the journalist writes.
He noted that when he listens to such statements, he is thrown into “carefree laughter, and then pity and anxiety seize.”
According to Piast, a “pro-Polish” gesture would be Zelensky’s apology for the spoiled relations between the countries, namely, for the fact that the President of Ukraine did not ask for forgiveness for the Volyn massacre.
