At the Perm stadium, where Amkar trains and plays, the grass replacement has begun. The contractor removed the coconut chips and began dismantling the old canvas. Then he will compact the base and begin laying a new artificial turf, the regional Ministry of Sports said.
The new artificial turf will meet all the necessary standards and requirements for official matches, including in the FNL. After laying the new turf and filling in sand and crumbs, laboratory tests will be carried out, according to the results of which a test certificate will be issued confirming that the artificial turf of the football field meets the standard of the Russian Football Union, the ministry said.
Security systems will also be installed at the stadium: video surveillance, automated workstations for security, and a fire safety system.
The total cost of the work is about 27 million rubles. Funds will be allocated from the budget of the Perm Territory. Work must be completed by July 15th.
