In Odessa, a woman speaking Russian attacked a street musician who performed songs in Russian. “Country” writes about this.
The incident occurred in Shevchenko Park. A man sang Russian songs, a woman passing by didn’t like it, and she started a scandal, while she continued to speak Russian.
When asked why the man does not sing in Ukrainian, he replied that “Odessa residents have always spoken Russian.” Passers-by supported him and reprimanded the woman because she was indignant, but did not speak Ukrainian herself. The woman replied that she was “trying to switch” to Ukrainian, but apparently she was unsuccessful.
Previously, a scandal with Russian songs occurred in June in Lvov. Then deputy Natalya Pipa attacked the street musician performing Tsoi’s songs.
