The All-Russian chess competition “Memorial of Vladimir Nikolaevich Onoprienko” is held in Noyabrsk. The organizers arranged a surprise for the young participants – a master class by international grandmaster Nikolai Kabanov, the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug reported.
In addition to the master class, Nikolai Kabanov took part in a simultaneous game session.
More people take part in the tournament 200 young athletes from Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Tyumen and Tomsk regions, Altai Territory, Bashkortostan, Ugra and Yamal. Competitions are held in four age groups: boys and girls under nine, 11 and 13 years old, as well as boys and girls under 15 years old.
