According to the TsNAK news agency, part of the missile launches that North Korea carried out from November 2 to 5 simulated attacks on enemy air bases.
The article also notes that these launches were carried out in response to “large-scale joint air exercises” by the United States and South Korea, which the DPRK considered “an open provocation that deliberately exacerbates tensions in the region.”
It was in response to these exercises that the DPRK carried out launches “in order to demonstrate a consistent and resolute will to respond to a serious situation.”
