The Department of Transport of Moscow reported an hour-long failure in the operation of the Big Circle Line (BKL) of the Moscow metro. What exactly caused the failure in the movement of trains is not specified, at the moment the movement is fully restored.
The first messages about the failure appeared at 16:00 Moscow time. In deptrans then reported on the suspension of train traffic from the Klenovy Bulvar station to Elektrozavodskaya. After 30 minutes, the Department of Transport announced that traffic on the BKL had been suspended on the section from Klenovy Bulvar to Savelovskaya. At 17:06, the movement of trains on all sections was restored, at 17:27 it began carried out in accordance with the schedule.
Telegram channel “Caution, Moscow” published video, from which it followed that several trains on the BCL stopped in the tunnels, and a large number of people also accumulated at the stations. According to the channel, traffic was suspended for an hour on half of the Big Metro Ring.
