In Moscow, the Basmanny District Court arrested the head of the control and audit department of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, Vladimir Repin. He is accused of taking a bribe on an “especially large scale.”

Lawyer Dmitry Grigoriev, accused of mediation in bribery, is also in custody.
According to TASS, the crime imputed to Repin is related to the period when he worked in the Omsk region. Vladimir Repin is a state adviser of the 2nd class. From 2012 to 2022 he was the head of the Federal Tax Service for the Omsk region. In July of this year, Repin was appointed head of the control and audit department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
