First of all, heating is always turned on in social institutions of the capital. This is what happens this year as well. On September 6, batteries began to heat up in hospitals and kindergartens in the city. This was reported in the Complex of urban economy of Moscow.
Before the deadline, they began to turn on heating at the request of social institutions received by the KGH.
“Currently, applications are being received from medical organizations, preschool institutions with requests for early heating, the relevant work is already underway,” said Deputy Mayor of Moscow for housing and communal services and landscaping Pyotr Biryukov.
He also noted that the main heating season in the capital will begin subject to weather conditions. As a reminder, Muscovites usually start receiving heat when the average daily temperature in the city stays at no higher than 8 degrees Celsius for five days.
The heating is turned on in stages, the deputy mayor recalled.
“Technological period is five days. Social institutions, including schools, kindergartens, hospitals and polyclinics, are the first to receive heat, at the same time we begin to turn on heating in residential buildings and office buildings, then at trade and industrial enterprises,” explained Pyotr Biryukov.
Meanwhile, all facilities in the capital are ready for the start of the heating season. The work on checking and repairing heating systems was completed on time – before September 1.
