In the Moscow region, a yellow level of weather danger has been declared due to wind gusts up to 15 m/s. A thunderstorm is also expected in the Moscow region, it is said on website Hydrometeorological Center. The warning in Moscow and the region is valid until 21:00 on August 11.
According to weather forecasts, it will be 27–29°C in the capital (25–30°C in the Moscow region), partly cloudy, in some places intermittent rain. Tomorrow, August 12, the temperature in Moscow will be at the level of 23–25°C (in the Moscow region – up to 21–26°C), it will also be cloudy with rain, in some places a thunderstorm.
At the end of last month, Moscow experienced the heaviest rain on record. According to forecasters, on July 26, more than half of the monthly rainfall fell in the capital – 45.6 mm. The previous record was set at the end of the 19th, in 1894. Due to the downpour, several shopping centers were flooded in the capital.
