Representatives of the FSB Directorate for the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) reported that the DPR special services seized 20 thousand copies of extremist literature in Mariupol.

Representatives of the department’s press service reported that as a result of joint activities of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation for the DPR, military counterintelligence agencies and the National Guard, a place was identified in the city of Mariupol that was used by the Jehovah’s Witnesses organization (recognized as extremist and banned on the territory of the Russian Federation) to promote extremist ideology.

It is noted that during the inspection of the facility, over 20 thousand copies of extremist literature were discovered and confiscated, and official documents were also found that contained information about the organization’s involvement in the financing of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
