In March, Russia will test a pre-fabricated shelter bunker for the National Guard

Tests of a fast-moving shelter bunker for the Russian Guard will take place in March, Yevgeny Tsirulnikov, general director of the Energoinnovation company, told TASS. Subsequently, this shelter is planned to be used in a military operation in Ukraine.

“We have developed pre-fabricated shelter bunkers for personnel, which will allow us to protect our military personnel from the main destructive weapons, primarily fragments, and disperse people so that they do not accumulate in one place, but live in bunkers of 8-10 people and are well protected , as well as to create more or less comfortable conditions for military personnel in the combat zone,”— informed Evgeny Tsirulnikov.

The prefabricated shelter is a reinforced iron container weighing more than 6 tons, which is buried in the ground – it has all the necessary conditions for the life of fighters. “Shelter is mounted in a stronghold, in the trenches, the soldiers live there, and in case of an alarm they have quick access to the trenches. Also, a shelter bunker can be used at checkpoints,” Mr. Tsirulnikov said.

In March, a prototype shelter will be tested, and it is planned to deliver the first bunker to the combat zone in Ukraine in the first decade of April. According to Yevgeny Tsirulnikov, this topic became especially relevant “after cases of mass defeats” of Russian military gathering places, as on the night of January 1 in Makeyevka, when, according to official data, 89 servicemen were killed.
