The Far Eastern leopard “regulates” the brightness of its coat depending on the seasons.
Like all carriers of a fluffy coat, Far Eastern leopards are subject to seasonal molting. In summer, the hair of predators becomes shorter, but brighter, and in winter it becomes thicker, longer and acquires warmer, darker tones, writes the Telegram channel of the protected area.
A series of images was obtained thanks to a huge network of photo monitoring on the territory of the National Park “Land of the Leopard”. This base of camera traps is the largest in Russia.
