The sports school of the Olympic reserve named after Akhmatova in the city of Seven Larch will conduct free training for children who want to learn how to snowboard. Classes will begin on January 15, representatives of the municipal administration announced on their pages on social networks.
“Snowboarding belongs to extreme sports, so those who are not afraid of difficulties and the harsh Yamal climate are invited to take part,” the community post says.
Classes are open to children aged nine to 15. The selection to the section will be competitive and will be held on January 13 (you need to sign up before the 10th by calling the number indicated here).
Coach Maxim Kolchev will deal with beginner athletes. Each child will be provided with all the necessary equipment.
