In Kyiv, they named the hidden meaning of Zelensky’s visit to Saudi Arabia

The Ukrainian publication “Strana” believes that the visit of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to Saudi Arabia has a hidden aspect.
Journalists noticed that on February 25, it was reported that Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin and a delegation were visiting Saudi Arabia. The next day, Volodin met with the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed Bin Salman.
At the same time, the Ukrainian publication notes, the Russian delegation included the Chairman of the Duma Committee on International Affairs Leonid Slutsky, who participated in negotiations with Ukraine in March 2022, and the first deputy head of the Committee on International Affairs Shamsail Saraliev, who is now participating in exchange negotiations with Ukraine prisoners.
“Strana” suggests that Zelensky’s visit to Riyadh following the visit of the Russian delegation may indicate that Saudi Arabia is actively mediating on issues related to the conflict in Ukraine.
Vladimir Zelensky himself said in his Telegram channel that he intends to discuss the Ukrainian “peace formula” with Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, as well as further steps towards the return of prisoners through the mediation of Saudi Arabia.
