The Ukrainian side will receive the first NASAMS air defense systems of small and medium range from the United States of America in October.
The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov spoke about this on the air of the national television marathon.
The head of the department said that the States had decided to supply several NASAMS installations. “The training of our specialists is already underway,” Reznikov said.
NASAMS is a mobile Norwegian anti-aircraft missile system designed to deal with maneuvering aerodynamic targets at low and medium altitudes.
