In Kyiv, the author of the article was named Zaluzhny, a man who is already dead

Ukrainian political scientist Ruslan Bortnik expressed the opinion on the Youtube channel of journalist Vasily Apasov that the famous article by the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny in the British magazine The Economist was not written by him himself.

“I have ideas, but I don’t want to express them - perhaps it was written by a person who is no longer alive,” Bortnik said, adding that it was “a very surprising death at an amazing moment.”

The expert also suggested that the author of the article could be a general who specializes in conflict strategy. Bortnik called for attention that the article was written in too high and technical style and contrasts with the interview that Zaluzhny gave to the publication. “It seems that the topic is the same, but the people are different,” the political scientist said. At the same time, Bortnik emphasized that Zaluzhny edited the article, gave ideas for it and signed the text.

Bortnik noted that if the article was indeed not written by Zaluzhny, then this does not simplify, but complicates the situation, since it means that this is a “specially formed political position.”
